Let me introduce myself, I am Lawrence A. Fischer,  to my clients its "Larry".  I received my AA in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Saint Petersburg Junior College in August, 1970, and BA in Accountancy from the University of South Florida in June, 1977.  I spent ten years in restaurant, as both staff and management. After graduating from USF, I was employed as an accountant in both the public and private sector. In 1979, started my own accounting and tax practice in the GATEWAY area of  Saint Petersburg. In 1984, I earned my right to practice in Florida as a Certified Public  Accountant. I am a member of  the AICPA, FICPA, NSA,  and FSA. I am a past president of FSA (1992-1993 and 2007-2008). I  hold certificates as an Accrecited Business Advisor (ABA), Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA), and Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP) from the Acreditation Council for Accountancy & Taxation, Inc.

In January, 1982, I hired Kathleen M. Heady, as a tax preparer. Ms. Heady, known as "Kathie"  to our clients, has been preparing tax returns and doing the bookkeeping. June 26, 1998, Kathie passed her enrolled agents exam, given by the Internal Revenue Service, which gave her the right to hold herself out as a Licensed Tax Professional, or better known as an Enrolled Agent (E.A.). Kathie is a member of  NSA and FSA. She holds a certicate as an Accredited Ta x Preparer (ATP) from the Acreditation Council for Accountancy & Taxation, Inc.
